I'm kicking off this series because, let's face it, knowing unique words makes our writing way more interesting. Obfuscate: (v.) to render obscure, unclear, or unintelligible.

Obfuscate: The politician tried to obfuscate the issue by using complex jargon and avoiding direct answers.
